CAEL Ambassadors
The CAEL Ambassador Program provides a volunteer leadership opportunity for engaged members to grow and expand CAEL's membership and aligned opportunities and is a "sounding board" for CAEL's strategic direction and impact. By sharing their expertise and contributing to the leadership CAEL provides in the adult learner/worker ecosystem, Ambassadors are an integral part of CAEL membership, informing and enhancing CAEL’s work. Ambassadors provide key insights into current issues and challenges and have a ‘front-row seat’ to emerging areas and opportunities - often with very workable options for bringing new ideas into reality. Ambassadors will encourage institutions, organizations, and other entities not currently members to become CAEL members, and work with institutions who are members to become more engaged with CAEL. Our Ambassadors represent our current CAEL member sectors and intersts.
CAEL welcomes new applicants to join the Ambassadors twice per year - in July and in January. You are welcome to apply at any time. At this time, we are seeking expertise in workforce development, employer partnerships, industry, and economic development - thus, we will only be accepting applications from individuals representing chambers of commerce, private sector employers, industry groups, workforce boards, and related mission-aligned organizations.
